    Xbox One X Will Not Power On


    Does anyone know how I can make an official complaint.

    After a long wait we finally received our Xbox One X console, excitedly we unpacked the box and connected it up, went to power it on and............... NOTHING. No power light, no nothing!!!

    I cannot begin to say how disappointed I am and totally unimpressed with the obvious lack of quality control shown by MS.

    I now have to send the console off for repair and in some probable 20 days in will hopefully receive a working unit.

    Totally unacceptable and very disappointed in MS.

    Hardware Issue - Power Off - Inactivity - Broke 2 Consoles

    My first xbox one x console would not power off with inactivity, where as my old xbox one always did. I called support, reset the system, factory defaults, reset the power, went through the settings and it still didn't shut off after any amount of time.

    They sent me a 2nd xbox one x, and it's the same thing. The auto-power off due to inactivity is not working, and it's really annoying.

    Can someone fix this and report this to the right staff? I'm already on my 2nd xbox one x console and there is nothing left for me to try.

    Hi

    I know this is not the ideal solution it might be worth researching and upgrading to an Xbox One S or an Xbox One X as I believe the internal power supply's on both these consoles are multi voltage (I know they are on my UK Xbox One S and X).

    Hi The Shadmeister,

    Sorry you're having issues with your console. The forums are the only place you can voice any complaints about the system. Unfortunately with any electronic regardless of price, DOA's are possible. Is it not possible to try to exchange it via the retailer
    first? If that is an option, I would definitely try to return and replace that way. If it's not at all possible to exchange, and you've exhausted all the troubleshooting steps (plugging directly into the wall, testing with a known good outlet, etc), then you
    would need a warranty replacement. I would contact Xbox at the link below though before starting the claim to see if any other options are present for you.

    The Xbox One X is a more powerful Xbox One. It's last gen. Go for the Series X, as that the most powerful Xbox at this time.

    Which Xbox do you have, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X or Xbox Series X or S? Not all of them are multi-voltage. The Xbox 360 and Xbox One will need either a power converter or a power supply for your region. As for the Xbox One S, Xbox One X and Series X or S, they are multi-voltage, and should work fine with the correct power cable.

    There is no x or one requirement for Xbox one games. Xbox one x has more power that's it

    Series consoles have more powrr in spades from xbox one

    And there is no xbox one series x

    XBOX one X worth it?

    If you just want 4K, even a Xbox One S would be more viable, since it is cheaper. But if you want power and 4K combined, then the Xbox One X is better. Also if you just dont care about 4K and you focus in the power, you should wait for the Xbox Scarllet,
    since it is 4 times more powerful than the One X (litteraly, 4 Xbox One X in one box).
