    Xbox one x vs an xbox one s with a HDR TV


    I have an xbox one s (I've had the normal xbox one, but that got fried in a power surge, so my parents got me an xbox one s that I've had since) other people have an xbox one x, but I have an xbox one s with a 4k tv (so whenever I get on an xbox one x enhanced game, it switches over to HDR) so do I basically have an xbox one x?

    Xbox one x hdr issue

    Xbox One S or Xbox One X have the HDR10 and the Dolby Vision. (dynamic HDR)

    All the games right now are on HDR 10. So verify what type of HDR have your TV.

    Erm........................You do realise that any game that runs on the Xbox One X also runs on the Xbox One S? And because of this, any game that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S.

    So basically, any game you find that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S

    There's no official support documentation specifically about the Xbox One X yet.

    However, I'd imagine it will at least have the same support for 4K+HDR carried over from the Xbox One S, the specifications and troubleshooting of which can be found below.

    HDR is an "Xbox One X Enhanced" feature for those games, that's official words.

    For example Rise of the Tomb Raider, NO HDR on Xbox One S.
