Xbox One X Ventilation Error upon start-up. System is not overheating, it's not even warm...

Is your console in a well ventilated area? and does it show an error after you start it back up again? maybe it's overheating

It sounds like a vent to me and overheating.

I would think the same however it does it from a cold start so doesn't have time to get warm.

Even though the console as a whole has great ventilation and no overheating issues what so ever, one small spot just above the ac adapter port get very warm as soon as the controller starts having issues and the controller only stops having issues after
a hard reboot, or having an icepack placed over that spot to cool it back off.

The console displayed the "general hardware error" message afterwards. I was fiddling with buttons and it started flashing all four lights, one light, one light again, all four lights, then back to general hardware error. After calling Xbox support I still
did not fix the issue. It worked randomly off and on, but the console wasn't overheating or even warming up throughout my usage of it.

It's pretty weird that Xbox One X has problems with warming up. Make sure it is in an easily ventilated location with unobstructed air vents. If you continue to overheat, replacement may be necessary.
