Xbox One X update errore (First Boot)

The same thing is happening to me. I am stuck on step 3 with the update error. I cant go to xbox home because it wont let me. I contacted support. They’ll call me in 55 minutes. I hope it will be solved.

Thanks for coming to the forums. There is a known upcoming issue regarding the error 0x80072f8f. We recommend to request a call from support so they may gather information on the issue.

When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----click on Contact us
  
• Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Hardware & Network
  
• Step 3-----under what is the issue select accessory isn't working right hit next
  
  Step 4 ----select request a call
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

The problem is on there end. Updates arnt working I was on hold for nearly 30 minutes but that's what they told me.

They are working on a fix with no ETA when it will be working but it's not your console / internet etc it's an xbox live related issue

Support has called me. They have been having that issue recently. They suggested it to wait it out. They are unsure how long it will take to be fixed.

I have the same issue, first boot of Xbox one X, start the update, freezed at 1% of download!!!, it never booted up again.
