Xbox one x update bricked my xbox

Xbox live update bricked my Xbox and are refusing to replace/repair Xbox. Microsoft mandatory update is clearly not fit for purpose or maybe something naughty perhaps bricking Xbox to make more money from us there has to be something done about this legally as there has to be a reasonable length of time an electronic device must last 5 years so why are all customer service agents putting me on hold for lengthy times and while on hold agent hangs up and when you hang up on you three times you have no way of contact something not right now if my Xbox does not get repaired I will look to get as many Xbox users who have suffered this and request a class action lawsuit

This is more than likely the power brick has failed. Same thing happened to my x360 and the reason I updated to Xbox one X. Time to update to a new console I suggest.

Either the next gen Series S/X models or XBox one S/X.

You won't look back, but will wonder why you didn't update earlier.

I'm having the same problem. My X is pretty much bricked at this point and when I went back to my regular xbox one, it can't download the latest update. So now, I have no Xboxes to use.

A workaround might be to install the Insiders app and update to the next preview, if its possible, or Offline install the preview as it fixes 90% of the issues hundreds and thousands of users are describing.

The recent Xbox System update caused black screen hanging, usb issues, lagging, haywire and freezes and garbled sound- its the UPDATE IS DUFF or possibly even corporately sabotaged, or temporarily scuppered to instigate a percentage of new hardware purchases.
