    Xbox One X ultrawide monitor support?


    I want to know if there is any existing ultrawide (21:9) monitor support currently on or planned for the One X in any resolution; 1080p, 1440p 2160p, etc. I haven't been able to find anything yet, so please feel free to respond at a later time. For anyone
    already using an ultrawide display with their Xbox One X how is it? How does it compare to a standard display?

    Changing Aspect Ratio and/or Resolution

    I have an LG 34UM68-P 34-Inch 21:9 UltraWide Monitor and the aspect ratio of the monitor is 21:9 and the resolution is 2560x1080 and when I use my xbox one it seems stretch out. Is there any way to
    fix this? I tried the option “Calibrate HDTV” in the video settings and that doesn’t seem to work.

    Ultrawide 21:9 supported on Xbox One S?

    Hey there, was curious if anyone had some inside info or if they have some knowledge on the new hardware of the Xbox One S. I recently bought an LG Ultrawide monitor and found out that it is not supported by Xbox One or PS4. I see that the new Xbox One S
    will support 4k and High Dynamic Range. Does this mean I can play on my LG monitor without stretching the image?

    Doesn't work. I've got a 35" monitor, curved and ultrawide. It seems that its stuck in a 16:9 aspect ratio and everything is stretched. There's no option that I know of to change it and none of my monitor settings seem to accomodate it so i have to force
    myself to use a 16:9 aspect ratio which leaves two very unsatisfying black strips on either side of the monitor

    Thanks, that's what I'd gathered at this point. Its good to hear from someone who has tried it. I really hope they do look into support in the future

    Could We See Ultrawide 21:9 Support for Xbox Series X ?

    I looked into it some more and it does look really impressive! I think I would go for one of the series X does end up supporting ultrawide monitors!

    The Xbox only supports 16:9 ratios.

    Does the Series X support QHD (1440p) at 120hz with HDMI 2.0?

    The Xbox One X already had support for 1440 @ 120Hz over HDMI 2.0. That said, you will have to do your research to make sure the monitor you choose supports those settings OVER the HDMI connection and not just DisplayPort as is more common in monitors unlike
    televisions, which is what MS had in mind when designing the console (I wish it supported my ultrawide monitor, but it doesn't).
