Xbox one X turns on automatically with no signal on tv and fans spinning at highest speed...

I recommend you apply for services and repairs, and get your console repaired by experienced technicians. However, here are tips on replacing the PCB board on your Xbox console:

1. Remove the tape: Remove the sticker/tape from the back of the drive to reveal the 2 other screws. You can do this with your fingers, it could take a little force, but not too much.

2. Remove the screws and back cover: Remove the 4 PH1 screws. Lift up the back cover and remove it.

3. Remove the ribbon cables: Do NOT remove the ribbon cables yet, make sure you opened up the ZIF connector first and then remove the ribbon cables. Otherwise you could damage the PCB. Open up all the 3 ZIF connectors with your finger nails or with an plastic opening tool carefully. Then remove the 3 ribbon cables from their sockets.

4. Unsolder the cables: You will see a red and a black cable soldered to the PCB. Now get your solder iron ready to Unsolder the 2 cables. Heat and melt the solder, with your other hand hold the tweezer. When the solder is melting, remove the cable with your tweezer to get the cable out. It’s recommended you use Unsoldering wick, so you can put some fresh new solder on the pads. Recommended but not required.

5. Remove the screws: Remove the tiny 3 PH1 screws from the PCB.

6. Remove the PCB from the drive: Hold the PCB and move it up. You should notice that PCB will come loose from the drive. Now hold in the middle and move it upward a little and the back to yourself. Be aware that it will need a little force (especially from the right side, as a clip is holding it down), but it should come off easily.

None of these worked. The problem is that I can turn the Xbox on for a few seconds but it won’t boot up or send a signal to my TV. I’ve tried different HDMI cables, different TV’s and different outlets. The power indicator turns on and the fan starts to spin but then it suddenly stops and nothing happens on my TV screen.

There is a work around to this is you set the projector to turn off automatically after x minutes when there is no signal.

The only other option available is to have the xbox set to power saving instead of instant on. The ability to send the Power Off signal in this way is done through the Xbox One in Settings > Power & Startup > TV & A/V power options

Is your xbox well ventilated? The xbox one is designed to keep it self cool by increasing the fan speed when it is getting hot. The faster the fan spins the louder it is.

I have unplugged everything and replugged everything but I'm still not getting any signal or sound. The Xbox360 fan turns on and the on button lights up but my tv says there is no signal and there is no sound.

(I think my Xbox is the original white one).
