Xbox one x turns off when sea gate drive is connected to USB port

It’s a sea gate 2.5 usb 3.0 external hdd. I’ve tried all the advice on Microsoft site like change port reset console. It works in my brothers Xbox and my pc it’s been formatted on both pc and brothers Xbox. When I turn Xbox on hdd lights up for a few seconds then goes off.

There are two USB ports in the back. The 8TB game drive remains connected to... we'll say port one. The Movies drive was/is connected via the second port. To connect the Anime Drive I first disconnect the Movie drive from second port, then connect Anime
drive in second port. No USB hubs/adapters are used.

Regarding the powering off: in what sense? When you hold down the XBox button on the controller, there's an option to "Turn Console Off"., But, from what I'm aware of, this is more like a sleep mode. I'm under the impression the same goes for tapping the
Xbox button on the console itself.

Is doing either sufficient? Or do I need to turn the console off off by holding the XBox button down on the console (or is there another way?)?

The first time I swapped the Drives from Movies to anime, I did the "Turn console off". But I didn't do it the times there-after.

The computer continues to detect both the Movies and Anime Drives, aswell as play any content from them, and recognizes their proper names.

That's a very odd issue. Does that happen regardless of what USB port you plug your external hard drive in? Is it at all possible the USB drive is making the noise? Do you have the USB drive on or beside the Xbox? If it's on the Xbox it's possible that you're
hearing a buzz when the hard drive spins. Unfortunately this is a bit difficult to pin point without seeing / hearing the console. I would try relocating the hard drive (move off the Xbox, or sit it somewhere else near by), trying a different USB port, or
even re-positioning the Xbox and the hard drive (if possible).

The noise comes from the Xbox One X (only when the external HDD is connected).

I've tried several positions, but the problem persists.

Now I do not know if it's a "real" problem, but it always happens when the Xbox X is off and the external HDD is connected. When the external HDD is disconnected, the noise disappears! The noise is "light", almost imperceptible (only audible when it is near,
with the ear, to the xbox). I just wanted to know if it's normal.

This is a somewhat common problem with some drives. The xbox one has power to all USB ports even while off, to charge controllers.

I'm afraid the only solution is to try another enclosure or another drive. From what I've seen there's no solution to this because the enclosure's controller board wants the drive on when it gets power and for some reason doesn't turn off like all the other
drives do, that turn off properly.

Thank you sir for replying yes upnp is activated port are open every time i have to factory default my xbox one x then it connect but when i turn it off and turn it on dont connect also with wired connection the same problem
