    Xbox One X started smoking and buzzing sound. HAZARD.


    Hey,
    It is Midnight and suddenly no electricity, Fuse jumped, went outside to pull the plug back, when i came back I saw smoke and buzzing sound from the Console .this happened right before me and my family went to sleep.
    This is very concerning and potentially could've end up in a catastrophe.

    I have sent the device due to another Hardware issue quite recently.

    I am afraid right now, and quite frankly stunned this can happen to such a known company such as Microsoft.

    Please advise how to solve my issue, I would much prefer to receive a Refund or get a different Product.

    I could not find any Email to contact support, I do not want to send my console again for repair.

    If anyone knows Email or some kind of way to help me solve the issue please do.

    Was your console plugged into a surge protector? If not, that could be the reason you experienced this. A power surge could destroy any electronic device regardless of the manufacturer. I can understand being hesitant on having it repaired a
    second time, but if it's under warranty then you either have it fixed again or buy a new one.
    My Console is set to Energy saving mode, thus it was completely OFF when this happened, and that is why this is so unsettling and the reason i`m trying to get a representative.

    No one can assure me something else will not happen once its back from service, it started less then 3 months ago, with HDMI issue, now its smoke and electrical shorts in my House.

    Don't try to turn it on without supervision of an electrician.

    This could really be dangerous, friend.

    Or just hand it out to your retailer for repair.

    The only suggestion would be to see if they do anything about lemons, if not buying a new one seems like your only option since you don't want it repaired again. May not be the answer you were searching for but given the information there doesn't sound
    like there are many options. Sorry that you are experiencing this, and I wish the best of luck to you in getting a resolution so that you can get back to gaming.

    I understand. My Tv was in flames. So sorry for your trouble. At least you have something to fix. Once again, I am very, very sorry.
