    Xbox One X shutting down mulitple times over the last week or more, then today restarted to ...


    Shut down and restarted multiple times to Start Up error page. Rather than factory reset I looked into Offline Update...

    Got needed files transferred to USB drive and restarted again... Normal Startup!!! Logged into my profile and proceed to Destiny 2... played some and now getting typical Bungie connecting errors.

    I'm not foolish enough to think that my problems are solved, but wonder if factory reset and reinstalling things is the best solution?

    Xbox One X is 9 months old.

    I haven't used my Xbox One X for a few weeks for I tried to go back on it today and it keeps turning on and then a few seconds later just shutting down? Has anyone else had this happen?

    Error messages

    I just recently bought an Xbox One X maybe not even a year ago. It slowly started to pop up error messages and then it started shutting down as soon as I open an app or a game and by shutting down I mean just force closing out of the app or game. Doesn't
    seem to run the as smooth as it did in the beginning any suggestions I'll be happy to listen.

    If you keep having issues of the console powering off on its own and or restarting without input on your end. While the Factory reset can fix most issues. If the problem continues, it may be a sign of hardware issues. Might be a good idea to look into getting
    the
    console serviced
    before your warranty is up.

    Also, if you've not already looked at the information in relation to the
    console powering off unexpectedly. it would be a good idea to look over that information.

    Thanks... Looked into that last week and did not find resolution.

    I thought that with today's Start Up error it have moved beyond that to something more involved.

    Does factory reset make sense? I understand that there will be a lot of idle time with this solution, but I can deal with that.

    Full Factory Reset
    will help solve the issues that you've been experiencing. From my experience performing a full factory reset fixes most if not all application/game issues. I definitely think the game and console will run smoother once performed. I hope

    Didn't help... had another random shutdown. Had a 'cannot read game content' error playing Destiny 2. Had an E200 error. Video went black.

    I do believe I have more issues than just game/app issues.
