Xbox one X set to 1440p / 120 hz with issue

Got Xbox one X set to 1440p / 120 hz but no difference is seen on LG OLED-55-B9. Tryed switching between 60 hertz and 120 hertz but can't seem to find any visual difference with any game that has been tried. Auto latency and VVR settings are turned on. Watched
some videos stating that thehthe changes would be less controller input delay and screen tearing and stuttering prevented. I Have not noticed a difference with the input delay, and haven't paid much attention to the stuttering nor screen tearing. Are Those
the only changes expected or is there more?

I expected to see smoother gameplay, similar to the true motion (interpolation effect) on LG TVs.

Hey SFL!

The Xbox One X is capped at 120Hz at 1080p and 1440p resolutions, but can do 4k UHD at 60 Hz. Unfortunately the Xbox cannot go higher than 120 Hz at the moment.

By any chance does your monitor have a setting to dial it down to 120 Hz?

The Xbox One X might have different settings to your TV, you might have to go to TV Settings on your Xbox One X

because the xbox one x cant push 120fps in all games at 1440, it will probably get about 60 or a little over at 1440 but no more. i use 144hz on pc and have vrr set for xbox, you aint getting 120 trust me on the x.
