    If you have a 4gb console then that does sound correct. You can buy either a larger Xbox hard drive (up to 500gb), or use an external USB storage device (up to 2TB). Seagate hard drives are known to have issues with the 360.

    Is your Seagate drive a USB 3.0 drive. If it is a USB 1 or 2 then it will not be fast enough to work on the Xbox One. You would need to purchase a USB 3.0 external hard drive for it to work.

    External hard drives are not fast enough for Xbox Series X|S titles. Unfortunately you can't play these games off slow USB external hard drives. They need either be installed internally or to an optional Xbox Series X|S Expansion card.
