Xbox One X screen distortion

When
I turned on the Xbox half of the screen had a green tint over it. I wasn’t having this problem yesterday as it was working fine. When I switch to 1080p or 720p from 4k the whole screen is tinted green. I saw a post saying to soft factory reset the console
to see if that would work but it did not as this picture shows the result. Its not my tv because I’ve tested other consoles and those worked fine. I’ve also tested different HDMI cables with the Xbox but get the same half green screen result. Any suggestions
or help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey, nice gaming set up! You may want to crop your picture to hide your gamertag though!

I see you have a switchbox, presumably the xbox is plugged into this and then into the tv/monitor? Have you tried plugging the console straight into the tv?

Thanks! The switchbox is for composite video consoles to hook into the tv. I have had the Xbox connected directly into the 4k HDR port on the tv. I’ve also tried some of the things in the troubleshooting but none of it changed the green

Hey there Dotchy! Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

To start off, I suggest performing a hard reboot of your console. To do that:

Press and hold the power button on the console for 5-10 seconds until the console powers off completely.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Unplug the console from the power outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the console back into the power outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Power the console on and try connecting again.

I have a couple follow-up questions for you to help us understand your setup:

Do you have a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) or Capture Card of any kind hooked up to your console?
What is the exact setup you've used for your Xbox One console? What is plugged into the console or into the TV?
