    XBOX One X (Scorpio) Weird Fan Issue Since Last Update


    Ok so I obviously have a weird screw face question here ...

    Since the last alpha ring update I've got a weird issue with my XB1X, when I put it into standby mode at night to go to sleep, something I rarely do in the first place; I've noticed that the fans spins up randomly while the XB1X is in that standby mode.

    It seems like it's pretty consistent (timed it for once every 6-8 minutes), so that means it spins up ~10 times per hour. Is anyone else experiencing this? If I power down the XB1X fully, obviously it stops ... but this is not the best solution.

    Xbox Series X power button blinks rapidly when I try to power it on from controller and then it doesn't power on.

    I won't be putting in a service order. I'd much rather buy another Xbox Series X if this one fails. I've noticed more users posting about issues with their console not turning on or being weird in general since the new update.

    There have been two new posts with similar issues to mine in the last hour. This leads me to believe it's some form of issue with the recent update.

    Same issue with me.

    Have had an original xbox one since it was release in November of 2013 and my original xbox one works great to this day. Glad to have it as my 4k scorpio is now worthless.

    My xbox scorpio updated last week and I'm now receiving Error code 105. I can factory reset and it seems to work for a few days then stops working again.

    Microsoft wants $249.00+ to repair/replace a software issue they created.

    Any idea what this is? Strange circle mark appears on Xbox one x.

    Hi, that mark is exactly in line with the cooling fan and heatsink inside the Xbox, my Scorpio edition has the same mark and it’s due purely to heat.

    I noticed this too since playing RDR2 along with my X also making more fan noise than with any other game.
