Xbox One X S Pdif port

I have a set of Astro a50s and the home base requires a connection to the Xbox one x through an S/Pdif port, the problem is I just got a new entertainment center and I need to unplug it from the Xbox to do some cable management and the Xbox port is extremely
difficult to unplug... this may be a dumb question but am I missing something? A release button or anything? I know to connect the cable you do have to push in a bit harder to actually connect but I am using a great deal of force and I obviously don’t want
to damage anything. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

    :)

Xbox one x s/pdif red light

    Hi

Don't worry about the red light you can see from the S-pdif port on the back of the console this is perfectly normal. The s-pdif port is and optical audio out connector on the back of the console and uses light to send sound from the console when connected
    to a suitable receiver/soundbar.

Xbox One X S Pdif port

    Hi

Apart from where you connect the network cable to all of the cabling on the back of the Xbox One X is just push in.

If you have an network cable connected to the console then there should be some sort of release clip that may look like a bump/ridge on the cable very close to where you push it into the console that you need to press to release the cable.

USB headset compatibility on Xbox One

The only ones that plug into a USB port are the Wireless type, that use the USB to power a base station and S/PDIF cable for audio input to the base station.

Getting static sound from aux port of xbox one x console

Hello again, the console's HDMI IN only accepts input signal, i.e. receives signals from another device.

If your console is Xbox One S or X, you have the Optical Output (S/PDIF) Out that can be connected to your Speaker if it has (S/PDIF) In.

If your console is series s or x it won't have this output.

I don't know what inputs and outputs you have in your speaker, so I don't know which connection would be best to use.

Xbox One on DVI PC Monitor with analog audio?

    Here is the best solution

    For Video:

order a HDMI to DVI cable - www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-HDMI-Adapter-Cable-Feet/dp/B001TH7T2U/ref=sr_1_2

    For Audio:

    order a S/PDIF to 3.5mm - www.amazon.com/Optical-Female-Digital-Toslink-Adapter/dp/B000I97H68/ref=sr_1_18

there is a S/PDIF port on the back of the Xbox One so you can use that converter to be able to use speakers or ear buds
