    Xbox one x/s games not being recognised


    So I've still got my hdd from the xbox one x, I've plugged it in the new series x and the games play fine, but some games I have on the hdd the console can see but let's say I sign in with another account, I then went to buy the ultimate version and it started to download the whole game again and install it on the other external hdd I have connected.

    I did this with mortal kombat 11 and ended up with a file size of 300gb and it was still downloading, so I deleted off and started again.

    I've just tried with rise of the tomb raider, and it did it with this, so I have it on hdd1, I've been playing it, but then signed in with another account, went to the store, purchased the complete edition, and it started to install on hdd2, does it not check on all hdd if its already there, I'm sure it used to on the one x.

    How is it that I bought Hogwarts legacy digital deluxe 2/17

    All services are running and this error still occurs.

    There are numerous reports of this same error.

    It appears to be affecting ALL owners of the digital deluxe version of this game. Microsoft store is not recognising that they own the digital deluxe version (and therefore both x/s and the xb one edition).

    The store is only recognising they own the X/S version, and not the deluxe version. Which is why the xb one version is no longer being recognised as being owned.

    It appears that Microsoft appear unaware of this issue. All we see is people being asked to do the troubleshooting, which will NOT fix this problem.

    It is a Microsoft DRM issue specifically with this game. I can't find anywhere that Microsoft has even acknowledged this issue yet.

    Why won't the Game Pass app (iPhone) recognise that my XsX has an SSD installed?

    Good afternoon.

    I have a 1TB SSD installed in the back of my Series X, the official one. The setup was seamless as it was when I added one to my wife's Series S a while back.

    The issue is that the Game Pass app for iOS doesn't recognise that my series X has the extra storage. So when I am trying to install games via the app I am being asked to make space, when I have tons left.

    No such issues with the series S, the extra space is recognised.

    Yes. for xmas today i received the game, so i went and put it on download in my xbox one (all worked fine) later i receive my xbox series x, i put the disc in and nothing happens. it doesn’t even recognise the disk is there. i have the normal game because of game pass but the nightmare edition contains 4 DLC’s which i cannot receive due to the game not being recognised on the series X.

    X/S is for Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, these are the new gen consoles, a lot of new games are now being released on the newer consoles only, and that game is one of them. you will need to request a refund from your purchase history.

    The Xbox one Family consist of

    these consoles are technically old and becoming obsolete.
