Xbox one X resolution and fps - Pls advise

Have you checked a different HDMI cable? Maybe the cable is defective and has trouble transmitting higher resolutions properly.

Have same issue, no not the TV or the cable. I tried two different HDMI cables and then on second hi-def LG TV. Second TV is where to Xbox worked under Hi resolution in the past.

All still showed no 720 or 1040 option, pls advise on next steps??

The Xbox one S works under 640, is there a program or tools I can load to reset the graphics??

yes and no, most juices will come out in both but with graphic differences, fps and load times

The question is about if Series X games will work on an Xbox One X. It wasn't about graphics, resolutions, fps, load times, etc.

all your digital games will play on xbox series x. maybe with more FPS and resolution

This is what I know, Assassins Creed Origins will run at 4K resolution with a device that supports 4K and it will run at 30FPS. Which is annoying for me, so much power promised from the Xbox One X to only have 30 FPS, but its because of the dynamic resolution
scaling to keep the frame rate stable. Even the PS4 Pro gets the same 4K at 30FPS.

I also read that the pro can drop to 20 fps where as the x is 4 or 5 fps better off when that drops but I also agree I am a little disappointed when so much was promised with the x and assassins creed was showcased for it

Sniper Elite 4 ran at 30 fps on Xbox One. Using backwards compatibility on the Series X/S won't automatically make this game run at 60 fps. The only way that will happen is if the developer or the backwards compatibility team modify the game to unlock the
frame rate.

BC Can:

• Make games run more closely and smoothly to the original target frame rate (30 or 60 fps)
• Disable Dynamic resolutions on games that used this feature. For example, a 1080P dynamic resolution game that would drop resolution to maintain a target FPS will now run at full 1080P. Same with 4K games.
• Add 16x Anisotropic filtering to all titles.

BC Can't

• Unlock a locked (baked in) frame rate cap
• Run games that have a locked resolution from running in higher resolutions, not without the BC team or the developer interaction.

The 1440P @ up to 120 FPS is not false advertising. Dirt 5 can run up to 120 FPS on Series X and S and Gears 5 with the Series X/S optimisation patch also can run up to 120 FPS (multiplayer only). Call of Duty Cold War also has a 120 FPS
mode in multiplayer.
