Xbox One X question

Hey folks,

I just have a quick question. I managed to purchase an Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition around 2 months ago. I recently disconnected from my TV (1080p) to a 4K Monitor. During setup I noticed that the right side of the console has a white glow, almost
2 tone coloured console. I didn't notice when I first connected it but its very noticeable.

My question is, is this normal or is something wrong with my console?

Xbox one x question

good day I just have a few questions here. If I buy a Xbox One X will I still be able to play Xbox One S games on the X. Also will I be able to play with my friends on the X who don't own an x. They all own a Xbox One. Along with joining a party with them

I take it you are referring to the external finish of the console itself?

I have a Scorpio and if you look closely you will see the finish is made up from a lot of little dots, so the console appears to change colour from one end to the other.

I have a question. When you say scarlet are you referring too project scarlet that is dealing with the Xbox series x that comes out late this year rather than the Xbox one x that is already out? I ask because you referenced the 360 and one in same context
as to my question?

If this is the cause then yes the Xbox series x will play with all models of Xbox one as well as cross play ability.
