    So I have a Project Scorpio Xbox One X, and it was working perfectly fine. I turned it off and took a break for about an hour, and when I restarted it nothing showed up on my Smart TV screen. I thought perhaps the issue was the TV, since I bought it just a few days ago. I tried using different hdmi cables and hdmi ports, but the xbox did not show up as connecting to the TV. I then tried to connect the xbox to my old monitor which I used up until about a week ago, but now the xbox wouldn't show up on there either, and the monitor just displayed no signal. I connected my laptop via HDMI both to the TV and monitor and that worked, it just seems like the xbox now won't connect properly, even though the light is on. I tried to power cycle the xbox, and also boot in low resolution mode, but still nothing shows up on the screen.

    I'm not quite sure if there's any way to fix this issue or whether it's worth purchasing a new xbox since I've had this one for 5 years and it's always worked perfectly fine.

    I have a Vizio P55-C1 and am experiencing the same issue. I also have the project Scorpio edition Xbox One X. I have tried different hdmi cables, power outlets, and boot up sequences. Nothing has worked. My previous Xbox one never had this issue and would

    I believe it was "Xbox" or whatever the deafault was for the Xbox One X Scorpio Edition, but then I changed it to Project Scorpio.

    Project Scorpio - Display port or HDMI?

    While there is essentially no spec information released yet for Project Scorpio, it is safe to assume that they'll be using HDMI, since it's a common port that everybody already has on their TVs.

    DisplayPort isn't the only kind of connection that supports 4K. HDMI has had the necessary bandwidth to support 4K@60Hz since 2013 (HDMI 2.0). The Xbox One S, released a few months ago in August, supports output at 4K via HDMI.

    Hi! I am truly sorry to hear that. Sadly, if these steps didn't work and the same issue happens on both TV and monitor then it could be an issue with the HDMI port on your console.

    Sadly, the console needs repair.
