Xbox One X Problems

Ever since I got my xbox one x in December I have had countless frustrating problems. From system updates that make my system go haywire to home screen not popping up to clear local saved storage even though I have a 4 tb external. I am getting very frustrated
and close to ditching the xbox one x. Hopefully Microsoft has an update that can fix these problems.

Every time I try to play a game 5 minutes into playing it'll pop up and tell me "clear your local saved data." Any progress I have made after that pops up is lost. Right now I have 13% used on external and nothing in internal. This should not even be an
issue. I have done troubleshooting like dealing with my external storage and reformatting it, but it seems to be a Microsoft issue.

Right now, I can't even get on my xbox. My xbox does start up, the tv is working fine. But it is a blank screen once I get to the home screen. A message will pop up saying "Sorry, this is not working right now. Please try again later." I have reset my xbox,
unplugged it, still doesn't work. I have looked up the error code but it brings me to an entirely different issue I'm not even having. This happens about 3 times a month and will last for 2-3 days.

Can you provide the error code that you get recently so we can help you better?

 

I’ve been handed a lot of error codes that did not help me at all the last couple months. Right now there’s an update for it but as usual, it won’t go through. Getting the error code E105 00000000 8007045D. Just stays at 66% and 85% for about an hour and
then says “Oops! Something went wrong!”

Do not really want to do a factory reset since I do not trust support.

Sorry too hear your having these issues with your new console. The E105 is a issue with the update and applying this. This would explain why you have been having the other issues too. I would advise on factory resting the console too defaluts including games
and apps. (Full Reset) This wouldnt effect anything on the external hard drive however you can unplug that if your worried. This will remove your profile however once you have done then reset you just need too siogn back into the console tooo add this back.
All your save data is saved too the cloud so is also unffected.

Yes it looks like it's going to have to come to a factory reset. Right now I'm doing an offline update which is very inconvenient and my 3rd time having to do so since getting the Xbox One X. However, I am not entirely convinced the factory reset is going
to work since I have talked to other Xbox One X users who have done so and it did not fix any issues at all. Just wanted to bring this to anyone's attention in hopes Microsoft is at least working to fix these problems because if it's not soon I will ditch
this garbage and go for something better, like PlayStation because I have not had my money's worth.
