Xbox One X problem

hey i just got my xbox one X and soon as a switched it on it was very loud like as if fans were blowing at full speed i thought maybe it would stop after updating but it just keeps blowing at full speed is there some sort of fix to this or will i need to
return it?

Do you have it flat or vertically? If you don't have a stand I suggest you lay it flat, the console takes in air from the sides for the liquid cooling.
