Xbox one X only works properly after I unplug it.

Just an update in order to help other players that could experience the same issue...

1) If you start your xbox one, by controller or by the X lighter button, and then you launch Fortnite with the headset unplugged from your controller, then your headset will not works properly.

2) If you start your xbox one only by the X lighter button, then you plug the headset into the controller and then you start your controller with the X button, after starting Fortnite your headset will works properly.

It seems that controller and headset must be started together, after having started your xbox one, but before launching Fortnite.

E' un comportamento strano, anomalo, tra le altre cose se succede solo con Fortnite, sono relativamente sicuro che sia qualcosa che deve fixare la Epic Games, se succedesse con qualsiasi gioco, allora sarebbe un problema della console, più specificatamente
della dashboard, e a quel punto dovrebbe intervenire Microsoft.

I have tried the power cycle shut down after I do that the xbox light lights up but I get no input signal on my TV. The only way I can get the signal back is to unplug the xbox and leave it unplugged for 15 or more minutes. After I get it all working again
the xbox will freeze after i push the X button for anything. I have also tried to do a factory reset and all it does is freezes up

Ok well after unplugging everything and letting it cool down for a decent amount of time it has started working again, I popped my intercooler back onto it since originally I had it off for a few months so I hope it will continue to work properly without
the RROD. So after trying to rush down to the shops to get a new one only to find they had none in stock, still might need a new one see how it goes.

Is your Xbox One X properly ventilated?

If so, try to unplug the electricity cord and connect it again. Also, try to connect the console directly to the power outlet and not via a splitter.
