    I'm in the preview. the..... cutting edge build (preview alpha skip ahead i think its called). Anyway I started my console up and my tv was acting like there was no signal coming through. i tried everything. tried switching hdmi cables, power cycling, power display cycling. i tried switching the cables to my monitor. nothing works. Was there a preview build released today? it worked last night when i was playing it.... about 24.... 25 hours ago. need help please

    Video problem with Xbox360 Slim

    I'm having a problem very similar to what Claudia is experiencing. I tried Microsoft support and the online support for my monitor (Samsung, in my case). The only thing left to blame would be the HDMI cable that I'm using, but I've tried two different
    cables on a total of three different TV's/monitors, and only on my monitor does the problem occur (with either of the two HDMI cables). If i unplug all other audio/video inputs from my monitor except for the xbox, however, there is no problem.

    The xbox works fine on other displays, and my display works fine with other devices. Only when my xbox and my monitor are connected together do the problems start.

    I find my xbox one s working while set on dvi and 640p resolution. But no display on 1080p and hdmi.

    Just to add i am using samsung smart 3d tv aand also tested my xbox one s on 2 other displays.. one pc monitor and one more smart tv

    Given you have tried multiple monitors and cables, then it does point to your console likely being at fault. The 640x480 is like a default display when there are issues....my Series X used to periodically display this on start-up as, for some reason, it would not detect the 4k side of my TV....luckily it always resolved by unplugging the HDMI lead and plugging it back in again.

    @Nielo TM - Well it actually depends on the type of TV. My younger brother has a Full HD 23'' Inch TV , and i have a Full HD 23'' Monitor. My screen has a finer and sharper display then his tv. His TV is an Akai , and my monitor is a Samsung.
