    Xbox one x making high-pitch whistling


    Just today my Xbox has started to make a high-pitched whistling but only whenever loading up games. I have read in some places it might be the hard drive and in some other places in might be the fan but I'm not sure.

    would you consider any of the noise you hear to be high pitched at all? not like a whistle, but justt a subtle spinning noise.

    It's not like squealy high pitched like a dog whistle but my dad had a hard time hearing it. It sounds distinctly electrical. Does not sound like a fan to me

    Oh yeah, my X11's also have a high pitched whistle. Not noticeable when the volume is up, but still irritating. IRS worse when the mic is in use.

    It might be the fans ball barrings causing the noise. If it's still under warranty send it in to get looked at.
