Xbox One X laggy after OSU1

I’ve tried all of the following already, am I right in thinking I only need OSU1 for the Xbox one X? Or do I need the OSU2 and OSU3?

Even with the new OSU1 installed sometimes the Xbox will continue to stay on the green Xbox screen. Am I right in thinking the hard drive is corrupted somewhere and not allowing it to work properly?

How would I know physically? Is the prices to install OSU2 exactly the same as OSU1 just different files?

I'd suggest you try OSU2. Without checking the console physically it is hard to tell whether the HDD is corrupted.

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

- Another thing you can do is clear the Alternate MAC Address; Go to Settings. > Network. > Network Settings. > Advanced Settings. > Alternate MAC Address. > Select the Clear button. > Allow the console to restart.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
- Select Reset console.
- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials.

Just to add: MS should clearly mention what version of the system update the current OSU1 files correspond to.

OSU1 is for Xbox One-X, am I right?
