    Xbox one X keeps shutting ofd


    Hi, I recently bought a new Xbox one X. Unfortunately it has shut off in the middle of a game a number of times. Also while trying to watch a dvd it turned off 3 times during the hour and a half movie.

    After shutting down I can turn it back on, fires right back up and my game and movie are at the same place. Even when I'm playing online I can get right back into my game, which is weird.

    Ventilation shouldn't be a problem it has lots of room in the TV cabinet, and has still shut off when I've taken it out and placed it on the floor.

    Any ideas? Otherwise I'm going to ask for a replacement as it's not even a month old.

    For a while now my Xbox one X keeps shutting off out of nowhere, I've moved it from where it was to get more ventilation, I don't know what else to do.

    do you use a surge protector?

    If you do, try it without, as it has a built in protector which clashes with externals.

    Im having the same issue now. Its on its on socket and everything. It also sits alone at the oppsite end of the dresser. I have a day 1 xbox one x. Is there any real way to fix this issue or do i have to replace it. I really dont have to money to replace
    at this time either with covid19 going on. I really do need some help.
