    Xbox One X Keeps Disconnecting


    So this has been a problem for a while now, I previously had it on an Xbox One S and because I was thinking of upgrading to an X anyway I did hoping not to encounter this again. Sometimes it will lose connection just enough to kick me off whatever I was
    doing but by the time I get to the Home Screen it will have reestablished the connection. Other times I have to go into Network Setting to test it but it will connect fine from there. On the worst days it will lose connection several times in a row making
    it just about unusable.

    I have tried a Hard Reset (held the button down for 8 seconds, unplugged for 5 minutes, etc.) each time but it is only a temporary solution and sometimes not even that. I've also disabled Instant On after seeing that could be causing wear to the device
    over time.

    Using a Wired Connection isn't feasible for me due to the Router being in another room and even though the Xbox is the only device having issues I tried restarting that as well but that didn't help either.

    I haven't tried a Factory Reset yet nor have I tried removing and recovering my Account, as I saw them as a last resort that I didn't want to have to do. Is there anyone who can help me?

    yeah my xbox one x controller keeps disconnecting and wont charge a battery. Ive tried 3 cables and 2 batteries.

    When will the Xbox Series X Controller Firmware get fixed?

    I'm playing on a PC, this isn't a Forza issue, it's a Windows/Firmware/Compatibility issue, the controller disconnects even if i'm not in any games.
    A lot of people have this issues on PC, for some it works fine in some games, and in others it keeps getting disconnected, and for most it just disconnects regardless of game or not.

    I sympathise. Since this latest update my xbox one keeps disconnecting from the internet saying no network detected when the settings says it is. I have a series x haven't tried that yet to see if same issue .

    There is currently a fix in the alpha and delta rings for the insider program to fix intermittant disconnects. MS is aware of the issue so hopefully a fix becomes widespread soon.
