    Xbox One X, issues with no signal after update


    My console was updated on the 31st of May and that same evening while playing Gears of War 2, the screen began flickering and then the TV said no signal. Restarting the Xbox helped little and a full factory reset after the third time seemed to help. I was able to use the Xbox nearly all day yesterday on June 2. However it began flickering again. This morning I'm once again at 'no signal'.

    I've had this Xbox since 2017 and had no issue until after this update. The HDMI cable works perfectly on my PS4.

    Doing a search, I see I'm not alone in having this issue after an update. It would be professional if MS would reach out to us and offer assistance.

    Hey gds1972?.. Umm... I forgot one more issue.. Another annoying as well.. Sometimes my Screen loses signal of my Xbox One X and unfortunate I have to disconnect & Reconnect the cable every time it does that or Full Restart the Xbox
    One X which again.. It's not the System fault but it's one of the ways for the signal to recognize it again..

    HDR not working with BenQ EW277HDR monitor

    Quick update: no troubleshooting has been successful thus far. There might be an actual issue between the way HDR10 is implemented on the Xbox One and the way the EW277HDR picks up the signal, since the PS4's HDR if working perfectly.

    If you're on the market for an HDR monitor for your Xbox One X, beware of this model!

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on what to do given this situation. I can totally understand how this could be pretty discouraging but if the previously posted troubleshooting steps have not helped, then I would definitely say to

    get it serviced.
