Xbox one X internal HDD problem

    Hi.
I have had a nightmare with my xbox one x over the last couple of days.
First, it wasn't responding to the controller. So we restarted it. It came up with E106. So I went through that whole process and ended up with an offline update.
It worked, or seemed to. Installed some stuff, used it. Next day it started up with E102. Since then I've had a combination of black screens, no signal at all, E102, E106, and an E203.
When it is working, it stops responding for a bit, line it's hesitating. At any rate, every time it turns off, we have to do a restore or an offline update.
So, I guess it's fubar. Of course, it is out of warranty. MS will kindly swap it for £250 but I can probably get a replacement, improved HDD for 50 quid.

    Any suggestions.

    :)

    Hard Drive Question

The Xbox One X has a 7200rpm internal hdd - Xone and S use 5200rpm. This makes little difference running games, but, but initial loads may be slightly slower on an external 5200 drive compared to the internal drive of the X, but
    it depends on the game.

I'm getting an Xbox One X and I still intend to use my 1TB external drive for a while yet as it worked fine on my original Xbox One.
    No, it's 5400rpm hdd

XBox One X and external drive

It was confirmed last night that any current external hard drive will work with the Xbox One X, however you may want to consider moving some of the games you play often over to the Xbox One X internal hard drive as it will probably load games quicker from
internal HDD than your external one.

Everyone having this problem it is SOLVED

Buy an external HDD and move everything on the internal HDD to the external

This will not only cut load times, but make the system run the way it should run. The internal Xbox HDD is garbage.
