    Xbox One X having trouble starting downloads


    Hey guys, I been having issues with my Xbox One X from day One.

    It connects to Xbox live no problems, has Open Nat, passes all the tests etc but If I try to download something it says Installing 0% but does not actually start to download...

    I sent my console back to microsoft for repairs, they said they performed every test they could, reset the software and everything is perfect.

    Got it back and still the same issue... so I started trying things and found that If I connect to my phones internet hotspot then the console works perfectly and downloads start immediately..

    So its a problem with my Router or ISP.

    its a Linksys WRT1900ACS and am with Internode (australia) ive tried connecting via ethernet, 2.4ghz and 5ghz, tried port forwarding, tried turning off the isp firewalls and so far no good?

    Hey.Have you tried to clear your CATCHE in your HD? Try that.Have this just started..? Cause i have noticed the same thing as well over the past week or so..I have a fat 360 as well..So it might just be from the fall update....But try what i said and see

    Ok so when i turb my xbox on, it takes like 30 seconds to actually get past the xbox logo and onto my home page. Then i will try and play a game on xbox live and it doesnt let me connect and tells me to test my connection. When i test my connection its
    perfectly fine. Im just wondering if my xbox is burnt up because i still have the old white xbox 360. I prolly got it in like '09. Help please.

    Have you looked on the Linksys website for a firmware update for your router just incase there is one and this resolves your problems?

    Same... and I only have this trouble with Call of Duty B.O. II... all other games sync just fine... tried all the fixes listed in this thread only to be unable to download my profile... started yesterday and it is quite annoying

    Xbox one x power up issue

    I have personally reset my Xbox One X 4 times in the past 6 months and it always goes back to not starting up/having an error when starting up or running really bad/slow and doesn’t install anything it tries to download.

    I have friends with the originals Xbox Ones and Xbox One S’ and they work perfectly fine, so i’m thinking its solely an Xbox One X issue
