Xbox One X had a flickering Screen and now wont display

Tried it on a different tv with a different cable. Still no display of sound coming out of the unit.it makes the normal noise when i turn it on and even when i press eject disk button and the sync controller button.but nothing from the console. There is
definitely power going in as the button lights up and stays on.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty discouraging, but if the steps did not help, I would suggest trying another TV or HDMI.

If that doesn't do the trick, you might have to get the console repaired.

hi thanks for getting back to me. i tried as you suggested but unfortunately there is nothing displaying at all and no sound committing from the unit.( the xbox logo light comes on and it makes a noise when i pressed the eject button but no noise from
inside the console itself) its like its completely dead, i don't get how it can go from a flickering display to a completely dead console.oh and i tried the call back and there were no advisers avalible as it was gone 12am in the uk,

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with being able to display an image on your TV.

Since your console is still turning on, what I would recommend would be to
reset your display settings. This will allow you to revert your consoles resolution to low res mode.

This can be done by following these simple steps:

1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
   
2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console.
   
3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the
   Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep.
   Don’t let go until the second beep occurs.
   

You can later go to your TV & display settings to configure it to a much more favorable resolution.

Additionally, if you are having difficulties with calling Xbox Support, I recommend instead that you
request a call back so that you don't have to be waiting on the phone to get in contact with an agent.

Try to reset your display settings and let us know if this worked for you!

Screen goes Black on HDR with Xbox ?

You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago

The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
my problem.

If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.
