Xbox one X Green Screen With Sound While Playing Any Videos

So I've seen this once before on here but the eleven replies never figured it out and it's four years old. I've got the issue where my Xbox One X plays games normally and usually plays videos from apps or game clips etc, basically any videos at all just fine. Until a day or two later, then when I try to play any videos, video apps or game clips, the sound works just fine but the video is just a solid green screen. If I turn off and leave the system unplugged for a minute then it returns to normal and I can watch videos again. That is, until the next time it happens a day or two later...Has anyone figured this out? Google is 98% green screen of death Q&A and like I said the one forum post I found didn't have a resolution. This is weird and frustrating, I'll pay a bounty for anyone that can tell me how to fix this issue on my Xbox One X. Thank you to anyone who reads this way too long paragraph and provides any help.

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the SYNC button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the SYNC and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the SYNC and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

Once you see the page, Please select reset then keep games and apps. No worries, no games will be removed, just sign back in using the right account.

Well I had hope but I just got the green screen thing. Seems to do it when I leave it in instant on but not when I leave it off because I left it off for a few days then played the last couple while leaving it in instant on and it just green screened me again. It's really frustrating. I mainly only play games and it's a pretty easy fix, just unplug it and leave it off for twenty seconds but still, super inconvenient. Thanks for trying to help though. I wonder what Microsoft would charge to fix this. Such a bummer, think I'm going to go back to PlayStation.

Thanks a bunch, I'll let you know in a couple days if it worked. Turning off and unplugging it works so the only way I'll know is if it doesn't come back after two days. Thanks again, I really appreciate you taking the time to help me.

You know the little short video that plays on an xbox one x before the xbox green screen logo? Thats when its static/snowy. Then it shows the normal xbox logo. When trying to use any video streaming app is when all i see is green screen with audio.

I tried what you suggested, it went to 680x680 like you said but it only dispayed the static/snowy screen in lower quality and still experienced the green screen with audio only on netflix and hulu.
