    Xbox One X Graphics and Performance Issue


    I am suddenly experiencing a strange issue with my Xbox One. I'll try to explain it.

    When I switch it on, it seems okay, but then it will freeze when navigating menus, especially when trying to access Network settings. When I do get access, I am connected via Wireless, I have a low speed of 17mpbs, yet my original Xbox One is around 99mbps on the same network, I don't think the network is the issue, and there were never issues previously.

    Also when I launch MW2, everything freezes, screens don't load properly and have white flashing dots around where the menu should be, after a period of time, some start to appear correctly, however trying to launch a match fails 99% of the time, on the 1% it does start a match, the map does not load properly and has ridiculous lag. All other buttons freeze as well, so I cannot long press the Xbox button for example. This is not only happening with MW2, Fortnite does similar, when I start a match, it freezes and then suddenly loads part into the game, and the graphics appear as though they are on switch or something older.

    I have tried several different things, including a full system reset and removal of all games. I did seem to have a slight improvement when I dropped the graphics down to 1080p from 4k, but the issue still existed.

    Both my original XB1 and my XB1s are both older, used more and still working well, so it is very frustrating that my newest one is failing

    Don't worry we will fix this together. Please make sure you can sign in all your profiles. Let's try to restore the console back to factory defaults but we will select keep my games and apps so it won't remove your games and progress.

    Please follow the steps here:

    - Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    - Select Settings

    - Select System

    - Select Console info & updates

    - Select Reset console

    - Select Keep Games and Apps

    After this, you will have to sign in again with your email and password. Then please try it again. Thanks!

    The game seems to have some issues with graphics settings and performance on PC and Xbox. I've had issues with the game on PC and have read multiple reports of people having issues on Xbox One S and X. All we can do is wait for the developer to release
    an update.

    I understand you need help with fps drop on your console.

    Does it also happen even when playing games offline?

    Try doing a reset on your Xbox and see if this helps:
    Let's refresh the console's system cache.

    NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

    No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select System.
    4. Select Console info
    5. Select Reset console.
    6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

    This will also help sync the data on your console properly.
