Xbox One X going completely haywire out of nowhere

Summary of what happened: I come home, start my Xbox One X, hop on GTA for a little bit (everything is fine) and then go take a break. When I come back, I hop on F1 2021. Game takes ages to load (much longer than usual). The audio for the intro sequence is playing but I’m still stuck on the initial screen. When that finally syncs up and it finishes loading, I get stuck on the “syncing data” thing (again, never happened before). Then I get a black screen and the console shuts off. Also key to note that when I tried clicking the Xbox button on my controller or wheel, the response was extremely delayed and laggy. Tried restarting the console and loading the game several more times with the same result. When I finally got past the syncing and into a race on the 6th attempt, the game kept saying “saving” on the top left and neither my wheel and controller inputs were working (ex: if I turned the wheel left, the game would have the car turn left and be stuck on that input, even when I turned right). And then I decided to test if Forza Horizon 5 would do the same thing. Again the loading process was very laggy, but now the audio was all stuttery and glitchy. Again I got stuck on the syncing data page and couldn’t get past. So I go back on F1 2021 and nothing changes there, the audio is fine and the inputs are still glitched. My last attempt was to go back on GTA online and everything works perfectly. I honestly have no idea what’s going on. I have a stable internet connection, the console has good ventilation, and everything is plugged perfectly. This literally came out of the blue so if anyone knows what’s going on here, please let me know asap, thank you
