Xbox one X glitching up and becoming unresponsive after downloading or updating games

Hello,

I've been have some issues with my Xbox one X console. When downloading or updating games, I get frequently get installation stopped errors messages which afterwards my console glitches up becoming either slow or unresponsive. Even the music in some games
tend to cut off and on before the console starts acting up.

Games also tend to freeze up and crash, often leading me to hard reset the console.

Often times upon hard resetting the console and turning it back on, the Xbox button illustrates, but I'm greeted to a black screen which causes me to hard reset until it goes back to normal. I doubt the console is overheating, as I have it in a well ventilated
area where there are nothing obstructing the vents.

I have tried all of the recommended troubleshooting steps, even doing a complete factory reset, but they only fix the issues for a few weeks to a month before the rear their ugly heads again.

I'm really pulling my hair out over these issues as I just can't figure out why my console is acting up so much.

Any insight on these issues will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the speedy reply. I believe my xbox is out of warranty as of this month.

Also, I bought it second hand, and it seems to have been opened before, as my friend pointed out, the sticker that should be covering one screw is missing. I looked a his to get an idea what he was talking about, and sure enough, mine doesn't have the same
sticker present. So, I'm not sure if it's been serviced before or what.

Hi Gutsukyo,

If you have tried all of the troubleshooting steps including power cycle/resets and

resetting your console to factory defaults, your only option left could be to consider sending your Xbox to the Device service and replacement team for servicing
or repair if under warranty.

I have almost the same Issue on the standard Xbox one ever since the last update crashing freezing glitching having to power cycle as Xbox becomes unresponsive to controller.

notice sometimes if you hold home button and select turn off Xbox it locks up and wont shut down turn on or anything just the turn off controller or Xbox screen stuck and unresponsive end up power cycling think up to my 20th power cycle sinse the update
grrrrrr.

Same issue here just the one x controller has the issue, my elite and other controller seem to work fine.

So for sure the controller played find for multiple hours with old controller but as soon as I turn one the project scorpio controller start having issues. It will become unresponsive within a few minutes, 8f i leave it alone starts responding again after
a few minutes but become unresponsive if I try to use it. Any update if this will be fixible by patch? Or do I need to request replacement.

I have a mix of xbox ones, xbox one s, xbox one x, xbox series s and xbox series x. I have 18 xboxes trying to download a game update with that many xboxes becomes a huge hassle time sync.
