Xbox One X game download is extremely slow.

My Xbox refuses to download content at a reasonable speed from the store. I am on a wired connection. When I test the network speed from my Xbox it shows I am getting 145 Mbps download. Then when I go to download a game or update from the Microsoft store
my speed is <1Mbps. It will occasionally jump up to between 20Mbps and 80Mbps for a few seconds and then go back to <1Mbps. I have no problems with any other online gaming or streaming function on the device. I have also tried a wireless connection with
the same result. My playstation when connected to the same wired and wireless connection has no problems downloading games.

Notes: I have restarted the console multiple times. I have no apps running in the back ground. There is only one download in the queue. There are no other devices using the wireless network. My device is wired.

Seems more like a problem with the Microsoft Store server speed for their downloads.

Hi, that sounds like an ISP problem. You can change the IP in the settings of the XBOX to go over another ISP. For me, everything works as it should.

It may be due to network congestion because of surge in demand from people staying at home.

What makes you think this is an ISP issue? Two different users with the same problem, both getting good speeds until they go to download a game from Xbox server.
