    The new Asus PQ22UC OLED monitor is releasing soon in Q3 of 2018 (July, August, September.) It's a small 21.6 inch 4k UHD display with 60hz and an outstanding 0.1ms response time. Capable of excellent HDR support it sounds like the
    perfect monitor to use with my Xbox One X. However, the Asus PQ22UC only has a mini hdmi (2.0) and a USB-C display port and like other monitors/laptops unfortunately they will require an adapter. Before i bought it i wanted to make sure it would also work
    with my Xbox One X to its full capabilities; I know in the past there were problems with using an adapter as you were able to use them and get the 4k display, but only at 30hz. This is obviously important because the Xbox One X is capable of 4k @ 60hz and
    i justed wanted to know if i used this Accell USB-C to HDMI 2.0 adapter that i found on Amazon that it would work. The Accell adpater allows you to connnect 4k displays @60hz and works on the Mac Book Pro and i just wanted to know if it would work for the
    Xbox One X. It sounds simple and like it SHOULD work, but i'd like to know before i drop $600 - $1000 on a monitor.

    Dolby Atmos not working on LG Oled B7C

    My Xbox one X states that my LG Oled 65 B7C is not compatible with Dolby Atmos. Tv is correctly setup to revive Atmos so why does my console not support the LG?

    Mini-HDMI is just the regular HDMI pinout in smaller form factor. Strange that your monitor uses mini-HDMI, but you don't need a special adapter. You would just need to get an HDMI-to-mini HDMI cable. For a monitor of that caliber (and price), it had better
    at least come with one of these cables!

    You also mentioned it's HDMI is version 2.0. HDMI 2.0 is the required version for the Xbox One S/X to output 4K@60Hz with HDR, so it
    should display without a problem. The things you read about some monitors only supporting up to 4K@30Hz is because their HDMI ports are version 1.4.

    Obviously not a monitor, but the LG C9 is hands down the best display for the One X. It’s literally the only one that fully supports all of the One X’s full HDMI 2.1 specs, plus it’s GSync compatible and just generally an amazing display.

    Thanks for your reply. Yes I knew about the timings etc, and it does indeed work at 1080p / 120 and 1440p / 60 with HDMI 2.0 on the SX. My point with it working on the PC was that it wasn't a broken monitor :)

    The MG278Q is listed in the 1440/120 section in that table.

    It is also advertised on the monitor page:

    I've reached out to ASUS tech support as well. I had read that it may be to do with the EDID not containing all the info the Xbox needs, that'll be something for ASUS to answer I think.
