Xbox One X Fan Super Loud

I have the Xbox One X Scorpio Edition and have noticed that when I load up any game even in the loading screen, the fans on the Xbox are super loud. It is on the vertical stand that it came with and there is nothing around it to restrict airflow. The console
itself feels pretty normal temperature but the fans are super loud.

What sort of sound are you getting? Just a super loud fan sound, or does it sound like the fan is hitting something? I get a super loud fan on my Xbox One X, but never anything more than that.

I "had" the same problem at release. I connected all cables and put the power cable last. The Fan went
immediately at 100% speed
and that the whole update process.

I had to restart the console twice after the update to calm the fan. At that point the noise was almost gone. In dashboard mode the X was hard to hear if turned on how it
should be like. In 3D mode (ingame) it was slightly noticeable.

But again and again the fan turned on 100% for a few seconds/minutes and went down again. The last 2 days I set up the console vertically because I thought that get more cooling to the up- and downside of the console then, and what
should I say, the 100% phases have become less. I also found out that if pressure is applied to the top of the center of the console, the fan immediately calmed down as long as the pressure was there. I think that either the cooler is not
completely tightened, or the thermally conductive paste "was" not properly distributed.
In any case, I could play the last 2 days without a 100% incident, and the console is now horizontal again. I hope that maybe helps others.

Its not like it is running hot, it does it right away when i start up a game. I have about 6 inches away from the wall on the back and 1 foot on the sides. But as soon as i start up the campaign for example the fans start to rev up even. This happened when
i first turned it on and started to play.

Hi

Please make sure the console has sufficient ventilation I believe the console draws cool air in from both sides of the console and vents the warm air from the back of the console so please pay special attention to making sure these areas have no obstructions
that may be causing the console to get hot.

Try an can of air duster and give it a good blast, then run a vacuum cleaner over the vents, his has helped in the past
