Xbox one X fan gets extremely loud

Like you said that you bought recently, its weird doing that since is a new console. Like was recommended in the above, do that if you bought directly from Microsoft Store, if you bought from a retailer, you should send it to warranty through the retailer.

Make sure the console has plenty of room for air flow. This will prevent from over heating and the fan won't have to kick in that hard. It's normal to hear the fan but not that loud as you have described.

What sort of sound are you getting? Just a super loud fan sound, or does it sound like the fan is hitting something? I get a super loud fan on my Xbox One X, but never anything more than that.

Might be a simple problem that can be fixed by just doing a reset on the console. My console made a loud noise from either the disc drive or the fan, but like you said, it sounded like a jet engine. It did it only once and that was when I was installing
