    Hi all, I need some help. Currently I have my Xbox one X connected to my Vizio Dolby Atmos Soundbar via HDMI, my soundbar attached to my 4K TV via HDMI. They both support HDCP 2.2.

    I try to play Lord of the Rings Blu Ray which is a 1080p on my Xbox and I get the 0x91d7000a error "Disc Stopped. Make sure your TV's HDMI input supports HDCP rights management. If not, try plugging your console into a different TV input."

    If I plug my Xbox directly into my TV, this error goes away and will play the movie. Why can I not pass through the soundbar?

    I have tried changing HDMI cables, and change video output settings.

    Worst case, I can bypass the soundbar and connect the audio via optical because the Blu Ray doesn't have Dolby Atmos audio anyways. It's just very frustrating.

    Xbox One X will play Game in 4K if they are Enhanced with 4K Support + 4k Blu Ray support

    They Xbox One X will also Upscale on a 1080p screen so you will see some benefit of the Xbox One X

    After troubleshooting some more last night I was able to successfully get blu ray discs and 4k blu ray discs by changing the resolution in settings to 1080p and then back to 4k. I believe this forced the "handshake" which got rid of my HDCP error that I
    was getting. (Error 0x91d7000a)

    Just wanted to pass this along. Curious if this resolves the issue for others!

    Sounds to me like the soundbar isn't doing true pass-through.

    Might see if there's a firmware update for your soundbar if it allows upgrades. Mine used to do similar things, firmware upgrade fixed it for me.

    Ok, so...I checked updates everywhere I could. Xbox and soundbar were both up to date. Ended up factory resetting my soundbar and once everything came back on I fired up my Xbox, inserted my disc, and BOOM there it was...Interesting to say the least, and
    I don't know what the root cause was. For now, I'm good.
