    Hey,

    I’m really hoping someone can help me with this as I’ve spent all weekend trying to get this to work and am yet to hear Dolby Atmos.

    I just bought a Samsung Q9FN, Samsung hwn850 and Xbox One X to compliment my gaming set up.

    I’ve got premium certified HDMI 2:0b cables connecting everything and have this setup for Sound:

    Xbox out -> TV HDMI 1 TV ARC -> to Soundbar ARC Xbox HDMI -> Soundbar HDMI 1

    I’ve done a fresh install tried different resolutions as suggested by other posters but It won’t let me change to Bitstream out in audio settings. I did manage to select Dolby Atmos when in 1080p Manual settings but then there is no sound at all and it’s stuck at 1080p and won’t let me select 4K.

    I’ve reinstalled the Dolby Atmos App tried different cables and updated the firmware on all equipment.

    Really hope it’s just something simple because I didn’t spend £2500 just to watch films and play games in uncompressed stereo.

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    How do you set up dolby atmos on xbox one without getting this error code 0x80bd0009

    I ve done all that. When I select dolby atmos in the settings on m xbox it gives me an error code 0x80bd0009

    Sound since last update

    Dolby Atmos on Xbox One X = issue !

    Hi RomiDumitru,

    *maybe* this "problem" is exactly how the Dolby Atmos App on Xbox One X works.

    Dolby Atmos native content? perfect! Dolby Atmos playback.

    No Dolby Atmos? the App upmix current audio track to Dolby Atmos (the headphones features works in this way).

    I don't know if is intentional.

    I changed the HDMI cable from the soundbar to the tv. Then I installed Dolby Atmos and followed the set-up instructions. When I changed the audio box for HDMI audio 5.1 compressed to bitstream out, I got the 0x80bd0009 error code again. Looks like
    I'm back to square one again.

    I have pair of Rig 800 LX and there Dolby atmos.They work great and it comes with a code to redeem Dolby atmos.The only thing is only a handful of games support Dolby atmos right now but hopefully that changes with the new console coming soon.He's a list
