Xbox One X Display Shifted/Pixelated

I am experiencing a display issue with my Xbox One X. After turning it on this morning, the display now has a large black bar, about 3 inches long, on the left-hand portion of the screen with the rest of the image shifted over to the right and being cut
off by the opposite edge. The image fits fine vertically, but the resulting image is pixelated and delayed, but the console is still able to navigating menus and play games.

I have tried hard resetting my console, using a different hdmi cable, using a different hdmi port, and even using a different TV but nothing has fixed the problem which leads me to believe it is an issue with the console itself and not my TV or cables. I
had no issues leading up to today and my console was working fine the day before this happened.

Support was unable to help and told me to make a post instead, so any advice from anyone on how to fix this or a solution if any one has had a similar issue would be greatly appreciated.

Cut-scene pixels

Hi. I have Final Fantasy XIII & XIII-2 and a Sony KDL40EX720 TV. Games seem to be pixelated. You could try several options. Go to System on Xbox, Display settings and select 1080i instead of 1080p. This will make it much less pixelated. Another thing you
could do is reduce the sharpness on your TV, even if it has game mode. There are also other display settings which your console will have. I use an HDMI connection but have ordered a VGA cable so I can use my turtlebeach x31 headset while using HD.

HDMI Problem..

Hello,

I just bought a new HDMI cable, because SD A/V cables are very bad on my HDTV, so I changed the settings to the highest settings available.

Display: 1360 x 768.

Reference Levels: Expended.

Color Space: RGB

The screen looks way better than before but it's still a little blurry and pixelated. Why? I thought HDMI will give me the perfect HD display..

How can I fix this? Please help!

I have LG 42LK430 Full HD 1080p LCD TV, if that matters.

Check your TV's picture settings (with your TV remote) and see if there's anything related to overscan, display ratio, calibration, or HDMI auto-detect. You may need to adjust one or more of those settings.

Otherwise, I'll say that since you've exhausted a lot of troubleshooting steps, I think there might be something wrong with your HDMI port. Gently jiggle the HDMI connector and see if it's sensitive enough to affect the picture on the screen. If you get
the same result on any other TV (and each of its HDMI inputs), then it indeed points to something wrong with the console, and you'll want to
send it in to Microsoft for repair.

True 1080i displays were CRTs and ALiS plasma

CRTs can display both interlaced and progressive form but larger ones could not display 720p due to limitation of CRT tech

ALiS panels had pixel resolution of 1024 x 1024 and 1024 x 1080. ALiS works by alternating raw of pixels hence the name (Alternate
Lighting of Surfaces). So it cannot display progressive image (much like how native progressive panels can't display interlaced source).

You've actually got your 1080i and 1080p backwards as far as the pixels at a time. 1080i displays full frames at ~30 fps. 1080p displays 1/2 frames, where each frame's pixels are either even or odd and they alternate, at ~60 fps. 1080p is the best, hands
down. But it is the one that only displays 540 px at once.

Verify that your TV is capable of HDR by going to the Xbox One X display settings and open "4K TV details".

In the Xbox One X display settings, ensure you have "color depth" set to at least "30 bits per pixel (10-bit)" to enable HDR.
