Xbox one X disconnects from network every time i turn the console off

Xbox Live has been a terrible experience for me on the xbox one. Every single time I turn my xbox off, I must go to network settings, disconnect my wifi and retype in my password in order to play online.

Turn the console off completely, disconnect the network, then turn it back on and install the game from the disc. This will speed that up. When that's done, turn it off again, reconnect your network and install the update/patch.

This should smooth everything out for you, just make sure that you fully turn off the console when you disconnect and reconnect the network cable to get the true results.

When you attempted the OSU, did you disconnect the ethernet cable from the console?

What type of xbox one is it, og ,S, X?

The 50% mark is where the console does a auto restart after the Download and Verifying stage.

When you turned it off, Did you power cycle your network hardware?

Does the console boot up to the troubleshooting screen?

If it appeared the item had been opened, I would recommend trying to go back to the retailer and deal with them and see if you can get a sure new one.

If those don't return any results, I would push on the retailer for a new unit if at all possible.

Still having issues... it seems that every time I turn it off, then back on it is disconnected and won't reconnect unless I restart the router. All other devices on the network work fine.
