Xbox one x disc drive strange issue

After you power off the console, have you reset the console power supply by removing the power cable from the console for a few minutes?

Whenever I have to do a Full Shutdown this is one step I always do. I usually do this whenever I have an issue with System updates, 3-4 a week.

Reset power supply has steps you can follow.

Just a random thought have you tried a laserdisc cd cleaner

No but i cannot see it being that as once i reboot the console it will work perfect for hours on end untill i then power it down for the night. As soon as i switch it back on after several hours of inactivity it starts again and i have to reboot the console
after the initial boot. I sae a thread on here from 2019 that had the exact same issue after a update from microsoft, but it was never solved. Microsoft want to charge me £250 to fix. Kinda dissapointing that this console cost me £450 at launch, yet out of
my control after a system update it seems has caused problems yet i have to fork out all that money to get it fixed. I kinda expect a console at that price to last longer than 2 years

Ive done that but still the issue remains, its doing my head in.
