Xbox One X digital game installation keeps stopping even after factory reset

I am having the same issue. Started on June 20th when I went to update TheHunter Call of the Wild. Thought it was just that game, but it's every game. It'll start to update/download and then stop with the message "Installation Stopped". After a few minutes it'll try again and then stop. I have rebooted several times; reset while keeping games and apps; and even a full factory reset of my Xbox Series X and even reformatted my external drive. Still having the same issue after all that.

Here is the issue. Two days ago I tried to update Sea of thieves, but the installation kept stopping. I'd Try again, it would hang for a few seconds, then Say "Installation Stopped". So it wouldn't update the game. I got error code 0x8007045d. I tinkered
around to get this to work by follow online instructions. I did the following.

- Clear System Cache

Didn't work

- Deleted Profile, then Re installed Profile

Didn't work

- Hard Reset the Xbox One X

Didn't work

- Factory Reset (Keep Games & Apps)

Didn't work

Nothing was working. I finally did a FULL FACTORY RESET. Wiping EVERYTHING off my Xbox One Games, Games, Apps, and Profiles. That did the trick, I was able to re download all my Apps and Games fully, even though it took 8 hours.

Now 2 days later, I'm installing a game and it's doing the same exact thing "Installation Stopped" Installation Stopped" Installation Stopped" and wont budge. If I have to FACTORY RESET my console everything 2 days to update a game, that's not gonna work
for me. What is going on?

Try an external and see if that works

I’ve tried everything possible to get my Xbox One X to get “MLB The Show 21” to stop freezing. Soft & Hard restart, Power down unplugging all cords, factory resetting my console keeping games & app, resetting console to factory settings, deleting the game & Re-Downloading the game and Re-Installing the game in the mean time restarting the modem and router! My Xbox is updated, all games are updated and rocking 120MB per second download speed. ..... Let’s get this fixed!!! Plus when it doesn’t freeze non of my progress updates! Get it together Microsoft! half tempted to get the PS5 instead of the Xbox Series X! 🤦‍♂️ (I purchased the digital copy)

When's the last time you performed a reset to factory defaults while keeping your games and apps installed on your console?

If the troubleshooting on the "game installation process stops" link proved to not help the situation. It couldn't hurt to try a

factory reset on the console.

If you're using an external hard drive. You could also try moving the game to the external hard drive, or vice versa to the internal hard drive.

I hope that you can get the issue resolved. Definately not fun to be unable to play your games due to an installation stopped issue.

Just tried a factory reset and even that hasn't fixed the problem. Any other ideas?

I'm sorry to hear about this issue being experienced with multiple games crashing on your Xbox One X. Based on all of the troubleshooting you've tried, it seems like a pretty difficult problem to fix. I would suggest moving those games to your external hard
drive and then do a full factory reset and not a soft one. When it asks you to reset, you will need to select "Reset and remove everything". Usually re-installing the games that are crashing after a factory reset will fix the problem so if you haven't re-installed
any games after a factory reset, I recommend doing so.

Are all of your games on the external hard drive crashing or just those that you posted?

Are you using the same power cable that came with the first Xbox One X you had or did the replacement come with another power cord?
