Xbox One X died

My Xbox One X will not display anything. I tried all the recommend trouble shooting (Different HDMI cords, Different displays, Reset display settings, HDMI port is getting power and console worked fine via streaming to windows.)

After all that I am sure it is a faulty HDMI 'retimer' chip as it seems to be a known issue. This happened a month and a half after the one year warranty expired (right in the middle of quarantine..worst timing). I called support and they said
I am SOL, not only that, the dude had me 'soft' reset my Xbox with out telling me I would lose remote access via my PC. (Even after it broke I was still able to at least play Halo via the Xbox app on windows..amazing feature I wish I had known it worked so
well).

Now it is just a 400 dollar paper weight. On top of all of that I can't get any one at customer support to assist. Normally this would be filed under the 'life sucks' category but after purchasing 2 Xbox 360s due to faulty hardware what the hell?
How is this acceptable? I can't afford a new Xbox due to what is going on and there is no way I'll ever purchase another Xbox product after that way this was handled.

So is that it? Am I really just out the game for good?
