Xbox One X Detailed Network Statistics Issue

Hello all,

My question is directed to owners of Microsoft's Xbox One X console. Have any of you had any issues regarding low download speeds when you checked the detailed network statistics?

I have a 300 Mbps fiber optic internet connection and all of my other devices show over 200 mbps download speeds when they are wired. However, the Xbox One X shows me that it gets from 1.5 to 2.5 Mbps download speeds on a wired connection. Funny thing is though
that when I am gaming online, streaming netflix or spotify, everything is fast the only problem I've had was when I tried to download updates for games, download speeds were fluctuating a lot from 300 Kbps to 60 Mbps and sometimes just outright stagnating.

After speaking with support I reset my MAC address and everything runs ok now but it still didn't fix my detailed network statistics issue, it still shows single digit download speeds.

Is this a common error or am I the only one experiencing this?

Just to check your network connection, can you share what your network speeds show up as under your Xbox One console's detailed network statistics? That can help us narrow this down further.

To get your Detailed Network Statistics, press the menu button on the controller while on the home screen and scroll down to settings. Under settings select Network and move to the right which will listed the option for Detailed Network Statistics.

Latency issues on two separate networks

Hey there -

Could you provide us with some additional information regarding your home network? To include your ISP, your modem/router make and model, if you're connected via Ethernet or wifi. Also, from your Xbox One console, can you provide us with your Detailed Network
statistics as well? (Settings > Network settings >
Detailed Network Statistics)

That'll help us narrow down the issue a bit.

I have exactly the same issue! On my original xbox one I used to get over 200 mbps download speeds, but on my xbox one x I barely get 2 mbps. However I do not experience any lag. I also had some problems when trying to download online games - download speeds
would from very low to very high in a matter of seconds.

 

I hope there is a fix for this soon because this is not normal... This is an expensive piece of hardware and for it to have these basic problems is quite embarrassing.
