Xbox One X Day Ones get hosed by PUBG promotion.

I am a little upset. I bought a Xbox One X on the release day... but

then I see that they are offering the new "Battlegrounds" game for free,

with the purchase of one. I am a little mad because they didnt offer

any sort of bundle with mine. I would have waited, had i known they were

going to give a game with the $500 console I bought

I just purchased an xbox one x today and I don’t see a way to get the PUBG promotion.

Yeah, I just read about this and I'm more then a little upset. Heck, they never even gave me the free 4K movie they gave to nearly everyone else. This serves as a reminder to me to never buy early again. Companies like Microsoft almost always seem to value
people who by later more then their early supporters. Its a definite slap in the face to their more loyal supporters.

 

Same too, im disgusted that this has happened, mine is an xmas gift. i have tried contacting microsoft and all they said was post on here and someone will contact me

 

Let us know if you hear anything. Like in the past I doubt they care if they've upset early adopters.

 

same here microsoft and other companies have been **** people for years i remember buying an xbox having it red ring and pay 150 to get it fixed then they announced free repairs but no refunds for the red ring of death

 

I bought a system and the next day it went on sale $100 off. I called Mircosoft and they basically said "sucks to be you"

 

I think Microsoft needs to retroactively reward all those who showed their loyalty and support by purchasing the Xbox One X at launch and allow us the opportunity to participate in the current promotion for Battleground

 

lmao, what a bunch of whiners.

I should call and demand I get a game that I'm ineligible for EVERY TIME there is a bundled console.

If you can dish out $500+ for a console then dish out $60 for a crap game, if you cant afford that then maybe you shoudlnt have bought a console to begin with.

 

The problem is that they run a special promo just after the system is released that rewards late adopters. If this were something that they offered up a promo on maybe 6-8 months after then I doubt most people would be upset.

 

The "promo" or special the early adopters got was the engraving with "Scorpio" on it, they got that version so they can say "Oh look I got it first" instead of waiting, for example when I bought My Forza console 3 weeks later the game was on sale, does that
mean I should throw a hissy fit? Naw, I deal with it not whine and whine about future promos that are better than mine at the time of purchase.
