    Xbox one x dashboard


    This happened to me today. For some odd reason my controller won’t let me scroll through anything. My dashboard, my friendslist or anything with the Xbox menu. But every game I play it works perfectly fine. So In game my controller works fine but anything
    with the dashboard or any of the menu it won’t let me scroll down. Please need help. I cant access anything because it wont let me scroll anywhere but works peecectly fine in game. I cant see if i need to update controller beacaue i cant scroll to it.

    I have the same problem. Ive installed games (some from the Xbox pass, not sure if that matters) and nothing shows up in my games list. The games I have installed will show up on my home screen when I scroll down, but theres also no option to uninstall or
    manage the game. Kinda driving me nuts.

    Hey there zGhost4!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this difficulty.

    I would say that if it is only affecting the dashboard, that a good troubleshooting step for you to go ahead and try would be a soft factory reset.
    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games and apps.
