    XBox One X crashes/loses video signal upon launch of Netflix app


    A few months ago my Xbox One X started having an issue launching the Netflix app. Upon launch is brings up the Netflix name screen, then goes black then my tv loses signal from the Xbox. I have to power cycle the xbox to get it back. I have tried uninstalling,
    powering off the xbox for a few minutes, powering on and reinstalling the Netflix app with no effect. I will say that the Netflix app never asks me to log in so either it crashes everything before it gets that far or something is cached. I have not tried a
    full console reset because I don't want to lose my saved games. Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot this issue? No other apps or games have any issue but this is my main entertainment console so I am paying for service I cannot use...

    I think using netflix app new version is a good solution, supporting viewing on all browsers

    netflix is a great movie app for phones, with an extremely large number of users, besides Film Streaming VF is a not bad choice, click Androidrub.com/film-streaming-vf to Get about this app today.

    Thank you for reaching out to Xbox forums support. If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
    reset     on your console by doing the following:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select System.
    5. Select Console info & updates.
    6. Select Reset console. [DO NOT KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS]
    Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything, go with that option. You'll need to reinstall your apps and games. You will not lose your saved games. This should help
    your issue with Netflix. Let us know!

    So you want me to choose "Reset and remove everything"? That does not delete my saved games?? If this is the only option then I'll suck it up but I want to be prepared to lose all my game progress. If I can keep just that I would be much happier.

    • Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts,
      saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps will be deleted. You should use this option when selling or gifting the console to someone else. You should only use this option as a last resort in some troubleshooting
      cases.

    I'm afraid but looks like you might have to reset your console to factory defaults and then try again.
